Cheaper to acquire amulets in Thailand, but...

To be frank, we have met many customers who went to Thailand to acquire amulets from temples and they say very cheap. The amulet can cost on average between 50 to 2000 baht in the temple.

However, if they were to factor in the cost of travel which include air ticket, hotel accomodation, local transport fare, food, time, the cost of an amulet is not that cheap after all, unless one happens to be on business trip or holiday and pass by a temple and acquire the amulet.

Most often than not, amulets from famous temples are quickly snapped up after its release. It is a case of you go to temple, whether you are lucky or fated to see the amulet. After that, it is a case of acquiring from collectors or open market.

Take for example, many customers went to Wat Suthat in Bangkok which has many good amulets, but cannot find what they want because all snapped up, whereas PRA THAI acquired the amulets BACK THEN and keep stock in the PRA THAI shop where customers can acquire them. We also go to temples in danger zones where you often see reports of shooting.
